The players at Chelsea respond to Pochettino’s unexpected firing.

The firing of several of the players has left them “devastated.”
A few players, including Nicolas Jackson, who shared a photo of himself and Pochettino with the caption “two emojis of a man putting his face in his hands,” expressed their “devastation” over the decision to fire Pochettino. Later on, the striker posted a screenshot to his Instagram stories, dedicating a few words to him as well: “Love you, coach. Desire to spend more time together (hand-over-face emoji). However, may God keep blessing you and your loved ones. I appreciate your guidance and encouragement; you are a real fighter and lion. Best wishes (heart emoji).
The days go by, and Hummels’ future appears to be dark. The German defender, who left Borussia Dortmund as a free agent, is still considering the offer from Bologna, who will play in the Champions League the following season. Gianluca di Marzio, a journalist, claims that the Germans are carefully considering the Italian side’s offer and are waiting for the player to respond definitively so they can strengthen their defense.
