[WATCH] – Sha’Carri Richardson races fearless 4-year-old in a speed test thrilling encounter

World 100m champion Sha’Carri Richardson has her mini in the making after being challenged to a race by a fearless 4-year-old in a thrilling encounter.

Richardson was one of the brilliant performers at the just concluded Paris 2024 Games, having blazed to the Olympic silver medal and anchored Team USA to the 4x100m title.

Surprisingly, during her brand Ad shoot for Oikos, the 4-year-old who was present with her mum (the photographer) challenged the world’s fastest woman in the world this year to a race, which she obliged.

As her mum called on the track to be ready, the young girl said “Wait, I’m four,” selecting her lane. Richardson responded “Okay, I know that’s right. Excuse me, I’m in the middle of the track. You ready?”

When the race commenced, Richardson tiptoed alongside the cute girl, allowing her to cross the finish line first.

Richardson did the brand Ad for Oikos before the Paris Olympic Games, and giving the young girl the privilege to challenge her in a race speaks volumes on the impact it’ll have in the child’s life as she can grow up to dream of being an Olympian in the future.

Following his historic feat at Paris 2024 Olympics by winning the men’s Javelin gold medal, Pakistan’s first in history, Arshad Nadeem was treated to a heroic welcome with prize money over N1.43 billion ($897,000), a luxurious car, and other mouthwatering gifts.

The 27-year-old took the top spot in the men’s Javelin event in Paris with a monstrous Olympic Record distance of 92.97m, thus becoming the first Pakistani to win an individual gold medal in the country’s history.

On his return, thousands of supporters showed up at the airport for their hero, who once trained with javelins he fashioned out of eucalyptus branches. According to Reuters, he was greeted in Lahore with a water cannon salute and was adorned with garlands.
