Legendary rock band to retire from performing after more than 60 years

Legendary British rock band Status Quo has been performing around the world for more than 60 years, but it looks like the band is calling it quits.

Status Quo is likely going to make its current tour its last, according to lead singer and guitarist Francis Rossi.

“I don’t think we will go again,” Rossi told Mirror. “And as far as the rest of the band are concerned it’s the last tour too. I just can’t see us doing it one more time.”

“I didn’t want to put this current tour out saying it’s the last one ever,” the singer added. “I did (that) once and was then coerced into coming back, but that’s another whole other (expletive) story.”

Status Quo’s current tour is expected to wrap up on Aug. 23 in the United Kingdom. You can see the tour full schedule here.
